How we work?
Soiling: Check depth of soil and signs of permanent staining. Fixings: Poor fixings may increase the risk or shrinkage. Seams: Poorly jointed seams may split during during cleaning trough water or heat. Backings: Type of backing may influence the method of cleaning. Some backings are prone to shrinkage.
All colours must be chemically pH tested to ensure use of correct cleaning solution.
Fibre identification will help to determine use of correct cleaning solution. It will also assist pre-judgement on whether stains are removable.
We will move sofas, chairs and tables. We kindly ask you to move all smaller items and breakables out of the room before we arrive. Charges may apply for rooms with a lot of furniture.
To separate and release matted pile for more effective dust extraction.
To extract dust and grit and other dry soil to prevent turning dust into muddy residue.
Prior to main cleaning operation, to ensure that full depth of stain is removed.
Use a specially formulated cleaner pre-spray to dissolve greasy soils. Agitate to depth of soil.
Clean carpet overall using the system and method decided at the Inspection stage.
Clean all edges, stairs and other inaccessible areas by hand using appropriate method.
11. Post cleaning inspection and completion
After we finish the cleaning process we recommend having your carpets treated with a stain prevention treatment. This is best applied to freshly cleaned carpets. Replace the necessary furniture and placed on protector pads. Ensure adequate ventilation. Provide shoe protectors and safety instructions.
